Dr. Dan Yamini is a native of Southern California, where he grew up in Westlake Village. A driven and dedicated student, he graduated valedictorian of Westlake High School before attending Stanford University, where he earned dual majors in Biology and Psychology in preparation for medical school.

During his medical education, Dr. Yamini developed an early and enduring passion for surgery. He went on to complete an intensive six-year general surgery residency at UCLA, becoming board certified in General Surgery. His broad surgical background includes experience in trauma, cancer, and complex reconstructive procedures, providing a deep foundation for his later specialization in plastic surgery.

Dr. Yamini is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), a distinction awarded to surgeons who meet the highest standards of surgical training, ethics, and patient care.

Following his general surgery training, Dr. Yamini completed an elite two-year Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery residency under world-renowned craniofacial surgeon Dr. Ian Jackson in Michigan. He then pursued a year of advanced cosmetic surgery training in Hollywood, refining his expertise in aesthetic procedures. In 2003, Dr. Yamini established his private practice in Beverly Hills, where he has been serving patients from across the country for over two decades. He has been a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) for over 20 years.

Dr. Yamini is known for his personalized, hands-on, and patient-centric approach to aesthetic medicine. His practice embodies the principles of a boutique, concierge-style experience rather than a high-volume surgical center.
