Profile of Peter Raphael, Dr
Dr. Peter Raphael is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He received his medical degree (M.D.) from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. After completing his general surgery training at the Methodist Dallas Medical Center, Dr. Raphael decided to enhance his skills in microsurgery research by attending the Division of Cardiovascular Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Following his training, Dr.Raphael accepted a Fellowship in Plastic Surgery at the University of Illinois/Cook County Hospital, in Chicago, Illinois.
Following his education, and exceptional training, Dr. Peter Raphael entered into a private practice in Plano, Texas, specializing in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Raphael has presented at both state and national medical meetings on the advances in plastic surgery. He is internationally known for his techniques in transgender surgery.
