I believe that the best way to provide patients with optimal care is to blend scientific insight with the art of plastic surgery. To this end, I finished training with world-renowned cosmetic and reconstructive surgeons, and I gained an intimate knowledge of the latest techniques in surgery. My medical interests include cosmetic and reconstructive procedures for the breasts, body, and face.

After earning a degree in Electrical and Bio-engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology with highest honors, I went on to graduate from Emory University School of Medicine in 2005. From there, I continued at Emory and completed general surgery and plastic and reconstructive residency. During that time, I was invited to become an affiliate professor at the Georgia Institute of Technology’s Center for Regenerative Medicine.

My in-depth studies of stem cell therapies, tissue rejuvenation, and implant design and integration have been published in journals like Tissue Engineering, Bio-materials Annals of Plastic Surgery, and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. I have also authored several textbook chapters on subjects like TRAM breast reconstruction, oncoplastic surgery, and acellular dermal matrices used for breast surgery. We hold two international patents for stem cell delivery devices, and I remain a clinical professor with both Emory University and the Georgia Institute of Technology.

I am board certified in plastic and reconstructive surgery. I am also an active member of the Southeastern Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, the Plastic Surgery Research Council and Georgia Society of Plastic Surgeons, and a Member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
