Nov 25, 2024Pompous a$$. Those are the two words that best describe him. I paged him after my stitches started coming undone one day after the surgery. He was annoyed that I paged him and then went on to tell me that I was wrong and his stitching couldn’t possibly have come undone. My husband later told me that one of his nurses trimmed the ends of the stitching (it was poking me in my eyeball as I was coming out of anesthesia) and likely cut the knot in the process. But rather than talk to me as a human being and learning more about the situation, he was more concerned about telling me I was wrong and he was right. I REFUSE to go back. Do yourself a favor and find someone who shows empathy and concern for his patients as human beings. This guy lives up to the stereotype as surgeons with a God complex.
