Edited Review:
When I first came in, it was not the best experience. (details in previous review below) After posting that review, Dr. Crane's office got in contact with me and after some work we settled all the issues.

I got a reasonable price. I also got to meet with Dr. Crane (who I wanted to meet with the first time). My second appointment went much better than the first. I felt respected, listened to, and had everything explained clearly to me. Dr. Crane apologized for everything that I went through and explained the changes he made so this will not happen again to any other patients. I appreciated the respect that he shows our community and quality of service he wants to provide. My experience before was not a true showing of the face he wants to put out there; he went above and beyond to ensure that this will not happen again.

tldnr; Had a bad first impression, expect this to be more expensive but the best surgeons.

Previous Review (2/5 stars)
I was really looking forward to my appointment with Dr. Crane, but was highly dissatisfied with his office staff.

I got in contact with Dr. Crane's office to set up an appointment but was constantly redirected to CA. I informed them that I wanted to go to the TX office, but no one told me until I was in the TX office that CA handles all the scheduling. I gave a window of time that I would be in town for this appointment and I was given an appointment that was not in that window. It took a second try to get the right time. However, I was scheduled with the wrong surgeon. I got that changed to the surgeon I wanted (Dr. Crane).

Upon arriving at the office, the office staff was really friendly. They took great care of me and helped to settle my nerves. Honestly, the nurses there are great and the only reason I am giving a 2-star review. When it came time for my appointment to start, the wrong surgeon entered the room. I was too nervous and upset to correct this mistake since I had already informed them several times that I wanted to meet with Dr. Crane - not Dr. Santucci. The appointment went fine, I didn't really have too many issues with Dr. Santucci, and I felt cared about. I was approved for the surgery I wanted and Dr. Santucci was very kind; I just didn't appreciate some of his word choices along the way.

When I was getting ready to leave I was told it would take 1 week to send me the quote for surgery. I thought that was odd since normally quotes are given the same day. Well, it ended up taking 3 weeks to get a quote and it was twice what I've seen other surgeons charge. Upon trying to address this, the staff had no compassion or understanding for how outrageous these rates were and just tried to convince me to look to insurance to cover it - all self-employed insurers exclude these surgeries from their insurance plan.

All my excitement for surgery and coming to Dr. Crane fled the moment they assigned me with the wrong surgeon, tried to charge me twice what other surgeons charge, and had what felt like no compassion for these issues. No doubt, they have the best results and great nurses. But it's hard to overlook how much other members of their team really put me down. If I was going for something more intense, I would suck it up and pay them for surgery, but considering I just wanted a simple surgery I cannot convince myself the hassle is worth it.

I wish my story could have been different and they were willing to work with me, but that wasn't the case. I sat on this for a few months now, but I thought it only fair that people be warned.
