Where to start? Okay, the beginning. More than ten years ago, I went t Dr. Saeed Marefat for a lower face-lift; it turned out beautifully and was one of the best decisions I ever made. That surgery took place in his office medical facility, with light sedation. I was conscious of the procedure during the surgery and experienced no pain or discomfort. My post healing was not unpleasant as I used the prescribed pain medication and used arnica to control the swelling. Over the years, I had revision surgery to enhance my nose and a lip-lift about approximately a year ago. More recently, I have had fat grafting. As you likely know, this is a more involved process than derma fillers used to restore and increase volume where needed. The overall result of fat grafting has been gratifying; the results became more evident over the proceeding few months. In considering fat grafting, I believe it’s important to note that the process encompassing the procedure is more involved than standard derma fillers. That said, it has been worth it, and I’m definitely doing it again in early 2021. In the meantime, I will have a small tweak of derma filler (celebrities, influencers, and public figures do not look good by merely using expensive face cream – but you know that…).
As for the minor tweaks with derma filler, far less product and less often are required with the foundation of other procedures such as fat grafting in place. Lastly, it may appear that I have spent time and resource on this aspect of my appearance, and I cannot deny that I have. Still, nothing has been overdone; no one has ever noticed anything that I have had done (thanks to Dr. Marefat’s skilled hands), but “you look good” or well are comments I often hear.
As with anything, what you choose to maintain, health, appearance, intellect, friendships, family, well-being, and the like, will be exemplified in those efforts. Take your time and decide what is right for you and pursue what you will. Dr. Merafat and the Metropolitan Plastic Surgery team led by Roya are excellent; I have trusted them and am genuinely pleased with the results achieved.
