Lacey Echalier, Dr

A friend of mine went here to have skin around her eye removed because her eyelid was so heavy and saggy, preventing her from being able to see. She said the dr worked quickly and seemed a bit arrogant about how “easy” the surgery was. Ever since the surgery she hasn’t been able to close her eye. At night, when she sleeps, her cornea dries out because her lid won’t close, leaving her in pain throughout the day. Every time I see my friend her eye is red and running with eye drops. She is very old and incompetent to challenge this injustice. I find this sad. Shouldn’t a post op appointment have addressed this? Is there no solution for someone who’s eye is permanently open? I have advised her to talk to a lawyer but she’s also a French immigrant and not the easiest to understand. I just wanted to let you all know in case you didn’t hear from her.
