I contacted the office for a consultation. They asked for $100 upfront in the phone. I thought it was strange but gave them my cc number. 2 weeks later I saw the doctor. She was kind and explained everything that I asked. It seemed like they wanted me to make a decision right away on my surgery. I needed time to think this over, talk to my family and decide if I could take the time off from work. About a month goes by and I start getting phone calls asking if I’m ready to make a decision. When I finally call back I get told that I am responsible for my consultation because I haven’t made a decision yet and my insurance co “probably” won’t pay for the consultation. I wish I would of known that the $100 that I paid up front didn’t cover the consultation. Most offices offer you a free consultation and don’t hound you after you leave. Now I’m stuck with a $300 bill!
Be aware of the games. This places just wants you in to get paid. It’s a shame because I really enjoyed my conversation with the doctor but I will not chose this practice to complete my surgery due to the shady practice office fees that are not contagious old up front
