May 2, 2024A few months ago I saw Dr. Abate to remove a small angioma in my face. She used a laser. However:
1 - A few days later, I realized that the angioma was - and is - still there.
2 - During the visit, she noticed a small growth between my upper lip and my nose. She confused the growth, which turned out to be a simple, innocuous wart, with malignant basal cell carcinoma.
3 - She shaved it with too much enthusiasm and with no thought about the position, in the middle of my face.
4 - Her job left a large, ugly and unnecessary scar that I will have forever. After four months it is still red. And it was a WART!!!!
5 - This ordeal cost me $250.00
6 - I cannot recommend Dr. Abate.
