May 8, 2024Me and my husband place a $500 deposit down on a surgical fee,
When we placed the surgical fee and I signed a contract that didn’t state it would only be good for a year it did however state that it was nonrefundable . After finding out that I was expecting I had to cancel my surgery but I was reassured by the office that there were no expiration dates on my deposit. Since then I have called multiple times just to make sure that my deposit would still be usable I’ve even had consultations where I was reassured that my deposit would be able to be used. My last consult was a couple of months ago where again I was told I would be able to use my $500 credit. Today I called to see if I could use my deposit towards scar gel I was told yes so I travel to the office only to be told I couldn’t use it on scar gel it would have to be a service I was also told that my deposit would only be good for a year. Having placed this deposit a year ago I was really confused.
When I called after leaving their office really frustrated this morning I was told that they would no longer honor my deposit for anything.
