I came here for a a tooth extraction but on the day of the procedure I couldn't go through with it. I left two stars only to give credit to the assisting staff because they were very kind and accommodating. It was a very sharp contrast interacting with them and then the doctor, who was condescending and insensitive to me.I only asked one question, about the length of time for the procedure. He replied it would depends (didn't specify what it would depend on). I guess I seemed visibly anxious, but instead of breaking down the procedure and what to expect, he instead elected to make it personal and minimize my anxieties, saying "it's not open heart surgery" and then brought my age into it for some reason--because I guess according to him there is an age limit on being anxious? People are different they have different experiences and different thresholds. The onus should be on him to minimize a patient's anxiety by being specific about the procedure without getting personal or shaming the patient. I have never had an experience like this with a medical professional and I've never left a negative review on anything before. This experience really just shook me that much.
