Nov 22, 2024I went in for an Otoplasty consulation in 2014 with Dr Aycock, and was quoted $5800. The first surgery did not go as planned, and I wound up having 5 revision surgeries with Dr Aycock, which ended up costing me the following amounts:
2014: $5800
2015: $2000-$3000 (I do not recall exact total)
2016: $2000-$3000 (I do not recall exact total)
2017: $2000-$3000 (I do not recall exact total)
2018: $2000-$3000 (I do not recall exact total)
My current results are as pictured. My left ear is deformed. Dr Aycock's Office said he cannot assist me any further with my ear
I now have to fly to Los Angeles to see an ear reconstruction specialist, as there are none in the Bay Area who are able to fix Dr Ayocks prior work. The cost (not including travel is $10,725. I asked Dr Aycock's office if they could assist with the surgical costs and did not get a response. So, what I thought was going to be 1 surgery for $5800 has turned into 6 surgeries for $30,000
