“I was feeling horrible about my body, it was so damaged. I went to my family medical practitioner for help, and he referred me to Dr. Hajjar. I was reluctant to go because I did not think that anyone could help me. I had been suffering from excessive and tearing skin and a ventral hernia for 18 years. I was at the lowest emotional point I had ever been. I didn’t even want anyone to see me. I was slowly disappearing. I had lost weight thinking I would feel better about myself but that didn’t happen because of all the loose skin that looked horrible. Dr. Hajjar created a new body for me and gave me my self-esteem back and my life back. I also liked that he did the procedure in a hospital, which made me feel safe. His staff treated me with openness, kindness, and respect. I couldn't have felt more secure and safe from the hospital staff from the information desk to the operating room staff. They were supportive and communicated well with my family with me in the hospital. All the staff was a lot of fun to be around as well.
