Nov 22, 2024I had breast implants put in by Dr. Zubowicz in 1985. Now am having problems with mine - soreness and swelling - and find that they were recalled thru a friend of mine - textured, biocell). I called Dr. Zubowicz to talk about having them removed (not replaced or anything) to alleviate the pain I am having. I was informed by his office that he would NOT accept any insurance and will not help me without cash payment!!! I am not in the same financial place I was in 1985. Basically, I'm left to live with the possibility of cancer (thus the recall by Allergan) and the pain that comes with whatever is going on in there. Ladies or gentlemen - be very careful about implants or devices of any kind!! It could come back to bite you years later when these doctors who implant them don't care if they cause you illness or even death. The bottom line is the almighty dollar. I really chose Dr. Zubowicz because I felt he was a caring doctor. Now I see that this was simply a farce. I am livid.
