I had been researching breast augmentations since Sept 2022. I had three in person consultations in SoCal. One virtual consult with a notable surgeon in Mexico. And I spoke to over a dozen offices over the phone regarding price, availability, and types of implants offered. I found that many of the doctors made recommendations based on their preferences. I really wanted Ideal Saline Implants, and I wanted to avoid a lift if possible. At one point, I went so far as to book my surgery and put a down payment towards the cost with a famous Beverly Hills surgeon. But when I went in for my pre-op consultation, he seemed to rush through things and was super condescending about my choice to use Saline implants.

After meeting with Dr. Champion, I knew I found my surgeon. She listened to my goals and didn't try to persuade me to do something I didn't want. Together, we worked out the best options for the goals I wanted to achieve. In the end, I decided on Ideal implants with an areola reduction. I was previously a 34C, and now settling into what looks like a DD.

I've never had surgery, let alone anything more than two stitches. So, I'm sure I was super nervous and annoying leading up to the day of surgery. Once I arrived, it was so awesome to be surrounded by an amazing team of women: an attending nurse, anesthesiologist, OR Nurse, and Dr. Champion herself.

At the moment, I am exactly one week postop and loving the results I see so far. Success!!
