“You will be happy!”

This month is my one-year anniversary of being a patient with Dr. Vartivarian. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in January of 2022. I decided on a mastectomy to remove the tumor and the next decision was whether to do breast reconstruction. I decided to have the reconstruction and was assigned to Dr. Vartivarian. That was one of the best decisions I have made.

Dr. Vartivarian is kind, compassionate, and attentive. He also has a great sense of humor! I had three surgeries with him and I always felt that I was in the best hands and in the care of a very talented surgeon. I was! I remember one appointment where I asked a question about one of my upcoming surgeries and his reply was, “You will be happy!” I never forgot that and it echoed in my mind several times going forward.

I also remember my last appointment feeling sad that I was no longer going to see him. He was such an important part of my health care team through this breast cancer battle and I am so grateful. His office is always spotless and his office manager Rachel was one of the kindest and nicest people to work with. If there is someone who sees this and starts their treatments with him I would just like to reiterate you are in wonderful hands and YOU WILL BE HAPPY! Thank you Dr. Vartivarian for bringing some normalcy back into my life!
