Review for Newman Plastic Surgery
I went to Hancock Plastic for a chin lift. I am an old man and the waddle I developed was bothering me. Price was good, front office good, Newman is eccentric...but maybe good. Surgery day I entered the surgery room, it seemed not recently cleaned. I had taken a Valium so I was groggy and ready to sleep. Newman seemed creepy, but I was groggy and maybe it was me. During the surgery in woke up, no pain but someone else was working on me. I was never told someone else was assisting the surgery. I was never introduced to anyone else. I thought the nurse I met before surgery was assisting. When I came to, the other person was gone! CREEPY!!!
I was bandaged up and told not to touch it. When I went to the next appointment when the nurse took off the bandage I was shocked! Instead of a three inch scar under my chin I HAD A SEVEN INCH SCAR GOING DOWN MY NECK AND TO THE SIDE!!! It was not even laid out and marked before surgery I asked him 'what do you do? He said 'you had fat all the way down your neck'. We had never talked about this. Instead of a small scar under my chin I now have a seven inch scar that looks like a step ladder all down my neck. Shaving is hard. He said 'just keep your head down'. I had back surgery that had better stitching. My lasting impression of Newman is CREEPY.
