I don’t have enough good things to say about Dr. Tseng & his staff. My surgery has exceeded my expectations in every way. I have always been someone that has strived to be in shape & healthy. Worked out all my life & always had a vision of what I hoped my body look like. But no matter how hard I worked out; how good I ate my goal always seemed just out of reach. I’d get skinnier & muscular, but the shape of my mid-section would never change. I tend to hold any extra weight in my stomach so my dream to have a flat tummy & little waist would never happen no matter what I did. Always made me self-conscious to wear certain clothing as I felt like that part of my body made me look much heavier than I was.
I finally decided to do something about it. I came across Dr. Tseng and after reading so many wonderful reviews decided to book a consultation. After that first meeting I knew I had found the right doctor to finally help me transform my body. He spent a lot of time with me showing me pictures and giving me realistic expectation of what I could expect being older and the shape of my body. Originally, I decided to do just 360 liposuction, but in my pre-op meeting Dr. Tseng brought up that adding a mini tummy tuck would help give me the results I wanted. I don’t get any impression from Dr. Tseng that he will try to sell a service you don’t need. He is realistic about results and knows the outcome of these surgeries depending on your body type and what options will work best for the look you want to achieve. So, I decided to add the mini tummy tuck to my surgery, was a great suggestion!
I am now 9 weeks post-op and couldn’t be happier with my results! Dr. Tseng is an artist of the body, and he did exactly what my body needed to look natural. I am still dealing with swelling but even knowing I still have months before the swelling should be gone to see my final results, I am ecstatic with how my body looks. I have a tiny little waist, flat tummy and curvy back. The lipo removed deposits of fat from the upper part of my hips/back that tended to make me look very straight and bulky. With the hip and back fat gone I look 6” taller and have a nice soft hourglass curve. I never thought I would have a little waist and a flat tummy and now I do thanks to adding the tummy tuck! My stomach is still the most swollen so I know those results will only continue to improve as time goes on. But even if my results were final now I would be so happy. I ended up losing 10 pounds after the surgery, that pesky 10 pounds I couldn’t get rid of no matter what I did is gone forever!
I will say the initial pain was pretty intense and I have a pretty high pain tolerance, so be prepared to have several weeks to rest and lay on your back as much as possible. I am really thankful I don’t have any children at home, can’t imagine dealing with the pain and discomfort while having to care for kids. My dogs were more than enough to wear me out. But with that said, the pain is 110% worth the outcome.
I ended up with 2 post-surgery drains that were inserted below my scar, this may have been one of the worst things to deal with having them hanging off you, but necessary to drain left over fluid. These were removed after 2+ weeks and can say that feeling of being free of the tubes and drainage “sacks” was one of the best feelings. After that, I had a fun afternoon of trying on many things in my closet I hadn’t worn in years or at all because of being self-conscious. Was so amazing to see my body in a tight dress and look amazing in it, even still being very swollen at that point. The joy I felt was indescribable; this surgery has changed my life for the better!
Dr. Tseng and Wendy were both amazing through the whole process and continue to be, they don’t drop off the map after surgery. Both are available via text to ask questions which I found to be a great addition to the process. This is a major surgery and having them both so readily available was invaluable. Just do it, he's amazing!
