John Griffin, Dr

5.0

I'm posting this review only one week post-op. I've had dozens of people ask who did my surgery and then comment, "but he doesn't have a lot of reviews," so I thought it should be addressed. Many people don't want anyone to know they had work done, so often, a surgeon may not get the well-deserved accolades. I'm not ashamed to admit it, so here's my story.

I'm 58 years old, and the person looking back at me in the mirror was no longer the one I knew. I wanted to look on the outside like the person on the inside. I visited a few surgeons for consults, but it just never felt right. I was actually referred to Dr. Griffin by another doctor. Columbus is four hours from our home, so I was thrilled to be able to do a video consult.

During the consultation, Dr. Griffin asked me what areas I was concerned with. We chatted about this, and then I said, "You tell me, what do you think we can improve?" My thought was that he's the professional and can see things much more objectively. The consult was not rushed, and they told me if I had any questions, just reach out. I could tell they were sincere.

They emailed me a treatment plan that was broken down by area of concern with pricing for each. Brittany was my main point of contact, and she responded to all questions FAST. It was impressive how responsive they were.

I never felt like they overpromissed any results. They made everything easy to understand. We drove up the day before my procedure for an in person appointment with surgery the following morning. All preoperative bloodwork/ekg was able to be done in my hometown.

The entire staff was amazing, I felt well taken care of and completely at ease. We stayed a few more days locally for checkups and changes to bandages. I've been in contact daily with them since we came home and just couldn't have had a better experience.

If you are looking for a caring and competent team and, even more importantly, an extremely skilled surgeon, give the Griffin team a call.

My procedures included a facelift, neck lift, lip lift, upper eyelids, and fat/plasma transfer.
Photo 2 was one day before surgery. Photo 1 is one week post op - I still have stitches. I'll update photos at a later date. In my current photo, I still have swelling, some discoloration, and of course, no makeup.
