Sep 22, 2024Warm, warm, warm! I took an immediate liking to Dr. Gregory Smith during the initial consultation. He had a warm, genuine smile and an easy laugh-a rarity these days. He was personable, upbeat, exuberant and unpretentious, all of which was a signal to me that he was cool and confident in his area of expertise, not smug; I didn't have to contend with the usual condescension and smugness veiled by politesse. It was very evident that he was neither burned out, nor sitting on his laurels.
Not once did he pressure me to submit to additional procedures, or procedures I wasn't ready for; this had the paradoxical effect of peaking my interest in, and planning on, further surgeries.
Sandra is as personable as she is professional: sharp, quick, efficient, she remembers patients by name when they call the office.
The attending nurse smiled and waved warmly to me upon my first post-op visit; that's a biggie in my book.
The one and only change I would make would be the installation of a separate, discrete, private entrance/exit for patients to be used on the day of surgery and post-op visits.
