Oct 23, 2024I had the worst experience ever with Jordan Hollsten. She advertises herself as an oculoplastic surgeon. I went to her practice for a blepharoplasty and she did a terrible job on me. On my first postoperative consultation she sent her assistant to take pictures and she did not show up to examine me. I noticed a severe asymmetry between my eyes. One eye being much more open than the other. When I went back for a follow up she finally saw me and when I asked her about te problem she said that it was something easy to fix in office. At that point I decided to consult another oculoplastic surgeon. She saw me and explained some things and besides taking pictures he took several measurements. Jordan Hollsten did not take measurements.
After waiting for the healing process to be complete I had to go through surgery again because the asymmetry was so severe that I could not look up with my right eye because it was half way closed. My experience with the second surgery was completely different. My new surgeon took several measurements to make sure the asymmetry was addressed as much as possible. I am thankful found a new surgeon who helped me to fix Jordan Hollsten’s poor job.
