Curtis Crane, Dr

It’s worth noting that this office charges for consultations when most other surgeons offering these surgery’s do not. Consultations nearly everywhere else are completely free - I know that from experience of having had many of them before I chose my surgeon (and never paying for a single one). Considering they are serving a community known to be poor more often than not, charging the large amount of money they charge just for the consultation is disrespectful.
I never got a consultation for two reasons.
1: I was too broke to afford $250 for 15 minutes. That’s how long most consults are.
2: they refused to book my consult unless I was willing to book my surgery and pay for it out of pocket at the same time…. What’s the point of the consult then???
I felt deeply that I was being sold a surgery instead of evaluated for one. There are many mixed reviews coming out of this office and I know many personal friends who have experienced deep medical trauma going through crane center. Dr. Crane is well known in our community for his lawsuits :)
I live 45 minutes away but I still flew all the way to San Francisco for my surgery. And yes, the consult at that office was free.

10 years of researching surgeons and crane center was the most unprofessional and frankly, scary experience I had dealing with offices all over the country.
