Aesthetica has been a disappointed.

I’ve been using Dr. Chang’s services for almost 12 years- Radiance MedSpa (Landsdowne and Ashburn) and now the defunct Medi-Weightloss (Landsdowne).

Their customer service and appreciation had always been a driving force for me being a loyal customer, given the numerous options available in the DMV area.

I purchased Aesthetica’s max 20 at $450 vitamin shot package, with the incentive that they would be available for same day appointments.

As it turns out, they have very restrictive operating hours and are only available Monday- Thursday with very full schedules- administering vitamin shots not being high priority.

After several attempts to get in for the shots (after 13), I asked for a refund for the remainder (7).

After waiting a week while the Assistant Manager was on vacation, she called me to let me know I could only be refunded $10, also chiding me for having “several no shows”.

I reminded her what the flyer says (see below) and let her know that was never the case in my experience and the reason it was such a struggle for me to get in for the shots.

She seemed to suggest that same day appointments weren’t actually an option. When I let her know that Radiance MedSpa did allow for me to get same day shots, she was surprised. The only reason I sought them out was because they provided more than just B12 shots that Radiance was able to provide.

In any case, after spending $450 for the package her remedy was to offer a $10 refund, after telling me her credit card transaction fee for my package purchase was $50.

Very poor customer appreciation. I couldn’t even get one vitamin shot with that $10 refund. They charge $30.

I guess they will pocket my remaining 7 shots and I will take my business elsewhere.
