Oct 23, 2024Nice enough guy but I had had breast cancer previously and he told me about the breast cancer act, which I appreciated which covers reconstruction of the one that’s not been affected. So I went to a different surgeon to find out about that, he told me you never do surgery on a radiated breast?! So I am assuming Dr. Meeks would have done surgery on my pre-radiated breast, and that just doesn’t sound like that would be a really good idea so I’m glad I did not follow through!! Now I have to have it removed anyway so it doesn’t really matter, but just FYI I would definitely check if you’ve had breast cancer and radiation, if you should be doing a breast reduction on that breast.
