Elisabeth Potter, Dr

If you’re an Ascension employee, don’t even try. Dr. Potter told me she would do my surgery at an Ascension facility and her office knew I had a very specific time frame to work with. But 2 months prior to my planned surgery (I notified them at least 6 months ahead of time) they told me I had to have surgery at St. David’s. They suggested over and over that I use St. David’s despite it not being in network with me. The sad thing is I liked Dr. Potter and I trusted her. But I didn’t even get an apology. They screwed me over and I had to scramble to get in with another surgeon to try to accommodate my timeframe. (I only had assistance during a specific time frame due to my family’s work schedule). Either her office needs to get it together, or she needs to not make promises she has no intentions of keeping. Or at the very least, fix your mistake and help patients find a new surgeon.
