Jason Potter, Dr

First of all, I'm currently going through breast cancer treatment & there's more behind the story & finally making the step to getting an appt w/ Dr. Potter than I can write, but lets just say that making that phone call to Dr. Potter's office was a big step for me that he showed did not matter to him..
I saw Dr. Potter on June 25th. My husband & I waited well over an hour past my appt time, as do a lot, if not all of his patients, when you read his reviews...that's not the problem. I get that he's busy. What I don't get is when you're a cancer treatment patient, as in currently going through treatment, & you come in to see Dr. Potter & he asks you point blank for your "plan." As in, what is it that you're looking for him to do. That's what I came to him to discuss. I had questions that I needed answers to & all he wanted was my plan. I didn't have a plan. I had no idea what was available or if I was even going to have anything done I was dealing w/ a partial mastectomy that was done for (basically) no reason & having breast cancer at the same time. Nonetheless, a 'plan' was devised & Dr. Potter said he was going to talk w/ my oncology dr & call me in a week. He did speak w/ my chemo dr, but I never got a call back. I waited another 2+ wks & then I called his office. Naturally, reception sounded surprised. I was told that he was w/ a patient, but as soon as he was out that he would call me back. This has been 3+ wks since I left that msg. Eight wks in total to wait on a dr...a dr who apparently does not wish to help. A dr who does not understand what his patient is going through & does not understand his code of ethics & do what he says he's going to do.
