Dinakar Golla, Dr

After struggling with my weight for years, I decided it was time to address the areas that lifestyle changes couldn’t fix. I’d seen Dr. Golla’s spa and even had minor cosmetic procedures done there, so I scheduled a consultation for more extensive work. My first surgery, a small liposuction, went well, so I decided to move on to a thigh lift to address the loss of elasticity in my thighs.

Dr. Golla informed me of the risks, including the likelihood of wound complications, which unfortunately happened. Despite this, he provided various treatments, but in hindsight, a wound vac might have been more effective. Though the wounds eventually healed, the results were disappointing—visible lumps, scarring, and persistent pain in my left thigh. I was reassured this was normal, but my instincts told me otherwise.

Compounding this, I experienced a pulmonary embolism during recovery, a traumatic event that shifted my priorities. Living over two hours away made in-person visits difficult, and despite sending photos and messages, I felt increasingly dismissed and gaslighted. Now, over two years later, my thighs are in worse condition than ever. I am left with severe scarring, painful lumps, and a disfigured appearance.

Seeking a second opinion, I consulted a highly reviewed plastic surgeon in my new area. He was appalled by the outdated incision method used by Dr. Golla, which he had stopped performing over a decade ago due to poor results. He confirmed that the painful bumps are permanent sutures and advised against any further surgery due to the fragility of my skin.

My goal was to feel confident in a swimsuit, but now that dream feels unreachable. If you value your appearance, mental health, and overall well-being, I strongly recommend avoiding Dr. Golla. Learn from my experience and choose a surgeon with a better reputation.
