Apr 10, 2025When I visited the office today. The first receptionist was super nice and engaging. However , after my 4 minute visit with the provider, I was brought to another receptionist( in the waiting area ) to discuss the recommended products. Without explaining or showing me the products , the receptionist asked to take my payment of ($284) for products. After I explained that I was interested in prescriptions for my treatment , the receptionist was not receptive and was almost challenging me on what was best for me. Not only was this exchange frustrating because I was not financially prepared to spend almost $300 on products that my insurance would cover … but there was no privacy and I felt like I had to explain why I didn’t want to pay out of pocket. The receptionist even tried to convince me that my insurance would not cover what I needed. I left feeling unheard and unconsidered. The prescriptions were later sent to my pharmacy, and was covered with only a $15 copay! Which proves she put her sales goal before my treatment being fair and affordable.
