May 9, 2025I met Dr. Yagoda through my husband who is also her patient. She is fabulous!
I was diagnosed last year with a basal cell carcinoma on my nose. My dermatologist said I needed to undergo Mohs surgery. I really didn't know what it would involve and I was extremely nervous. My husband told me to call Dr. Yagoda for her advise. I reached out to her and she called me back immediately. Not many doctors would have a response time like this.
She completely put me at ease, explained the Mohs procedure and what to expect afterwards. After the Mohs surgery I went to Dr. Yagoda to perform the repair. I had a sizable hole on my nose and was emotionally drained from the ordeal. She was comforting, and confident in her expertise. I knew I was in good hands. She is an extremely skillful surgeon and has a wonderful bed side manner.
Although Dr. Yagoda doesn't take my insurance her office will always process the paperwork for my claims. I had a case where I needed to appeal for payment and Dr. Yagoda took the time to speak to the insurance company as well as submit an appeal on my behalf. She really went above and beyond. Thanks to her, and her assistant Alexa, I received full reimbursement.
