Jun 6, 2025I wish I could comment on the actual doctor who, in my half hour consult with him, was pleasant, knowledgeable, kind. HOWEVER in order to get to the actual doctor, you have to call the front desk.
Over two months, I have tried at least three times to get to Dr. Ehrlich. Each time, I have reached a receptionist who has stonewalled me and provided excuses for why I cannot schedule a follow-up meeting with Dr. Ehrlich.
The first time (in December), she said she would leave a message with Dr. Ehrlich about scheduling a follow-up appointment to my consultation. I did not hear back from the office.
The second time (in January), she repeated the same refrain and did not acknowledge my first call. She told me the doctor would reach out after she passed along my message for a surgery date. No one reached out to me.
The third time (in February), she hung up on me multiple times once I (understandably) started to get frustrated at this level of customer service.
The customer service at reception is hands down the most frustrating experience I have faced in many, many years.
If it is this difficult to even get an appointment with a doctor scheduled, I cannot how painful, how difficult it would be to reach the doctor if there were any complication to a surgery.
I'm sure the doctor is great and skilled. But I would highly recommend anyone thinking of paying for surgery here to think twice because should anything go wrong - with the surgery, with payment, with insurance - be prepared to spend several hours during your work window calling the office, getting hung up on, and treated like a second class citizen.
