Jul 5, 2025I had my consult in December. I was told that my information would be submitted to insurance, and they would have me in the beginning of the new year. I have called several times to check in and they had not sent my info yet. February 19 was the last time I called. I was told it would be submitted that day. The February call was a nice young lady, but previous calls were a young lady with an attitude. It is now March, and no update. Communication could use some work for sure. Dr. Ortega is polite, kind, and understanding in the consultation. I am wildly frustrated with the lack of communication since this is not just a cosmetic procedure for me. I have 11 herniated discs, stenosis in my neck & lumbar areas. This is a much needed procedure for additional pain relief. I am losing hope that I will ever get the call. 3 months and nothing submitted. No contact unless I initiated it. I don’t even know what to think or do anymore. I understand they are busy, but this feels punitive.
