Update : 6/5/24 - Since my review Mya has contacted me and taken full responsibility for the miss communication. THIS gives me a great respect for her. It is not easy to do such a thing in this world anymore . I will give credit where credit is due . She has been in contact and communicated next steps. Thank you for doing this .

I had a consultation with Dr. Mcfate last fall (2023). While Dr. Mcfate was wonderful and made me feel comfortable with my decision the follow up with the office staff and Mia was completely unprofessional. I was told my insurance for a breast reduction would be verified to see if there would be any coverage on the following Tuesday. That day has never come. I have made SEVERAL phone calls requesting a follow up. After Feb 2024 I finally received a call back. A short conversation later I was told my insurance would be ran and she would have an answer in 1-2 weeks. This seemed long but I gave the office the benefit of the doubt because I felt very comfortable with Dr. Mcfate. I was asked to send a copy of my most recent mammogram, which I did promptly. I sent the email on 43/2024. Long story short ,it is now 4/26/202 and after several messages I still have not heard back from Mia regarding my insurance coverage. Don't waste your time or money here. I have never been made to feel so invisible by a "professional." I asked for my consultation fee be returned and I am confident I will never see it.
