Jun 16, 2025I am beyond disappointed. I have been trying to get in contact with the Patient Coordinator to answer quote questions with no luck. I have made several calls and left 3 voicemails (both with her and the front desk) - it’s been 3 weeks since my revision consult.
I had my augmentation done by KKW in Feb 2024, after about 6 months I started to have discomfort in one side. 2 more months went by without any relief, so I went in to have it checked and find out I have Capsular Contracture. I took Singulair for 3 months to see if it would resolve itself, but had no luck unfortunately, so I went in for a revision consult and everything went great until I got my quote. I misunderstood the amount Sientra would cover, so I went in thinking I could have at least that portion of the cost covered and could go bigger/get a mastopexy (since I would already be under) and pay that portion myself. I was highly mistaken and completely blown away by my quote (5K more than I paid for my original surgery a year ago). I told Shayna I need time to think on it and I’d be in touch. We spoke later that afternoon and she gave me a revised quote without the mastopexy and said she would call me back with the price to do the mastopexy at a later date. I didn’t hear back and thought it over that night. I decided the best route both financially and physically would be to stay the same size and only proceed with the affected side and possibly the mastopexy if it fit in my budget. All my attempts to inquire about and schedule these procedures have been ignored. I tried to give the benefit of the doubt because up until this point this is not the experience I had with KKW and her staff, but this is upsetting and makes me question everything.
