I was turning 60 and had many years of sun damage on my face. Over the last decades, I had been to a few surgeons about my wrinkles and skin condition. The information I received was not encouraging and it was scary, so I didn’t do anything.

After moving to the Austin area, I decided to give it one last shot. I got a recommendation from a friend whose Mom just did what I wanted.

In October 2024 I met Dr. Antunes. From my first contact with his office, I was treated so kindly. After explaining my issues and the items that bothered me, it was suggested I send pictures so Dr. Antunes could assess. I sent the pictures and waited to hear back.

At this point a consultation in person took place. Dr.Antunes asked many questions about what I was looking to achieve. He wanted to make sure I was realistic and healthy enough to proceed. He then told me his thoughts and what could be achieved. He spoke of facial harmony which I loved……. Making sure both sides of the face were in harmony. I also wanted to look natural. Not like I’d just had work done. Right away I realized this was my guy and I fully trusted his advice.

In January 2025 I had a my procedures. A Deep plane facelift, neck lift, fat transfer, upper eyelids, temporal lift and the Erbium laser.

I have no regrets and I’m very happy I waited for the right surgeon, Dr. Marcelo Antunes - Face Austin.
