The billing department didn't know to do a preauthorization before my office visit.
This caused me to be at the office for several hours.
They argued with me stating my insurance doesn't cover certain care.
I continually told them their doing something wrong, because my insurance covers everything.
I had to call my insurance while on speaker phone. The insurance told them their wrong and explained to the billing department how to do their job.
The billing department never appologized for her mistake.
Infact, she had an attitude after that.
The optometrist had an assistant put eye drops in my eyes and test them.
Why isnt the optomotrist doing this??
Why are they allowing an assistant to do this?
No assistant, should be touching my eyes, or putting drops in them.
My appointment was with an optometrist and opthomologist.
The optometrist didnt trust the assistant readings for the glaucoma test that she had her give me.
Therefore, the optometrist had to test my eyes again and put in more eyedrops.
I had three sets total of eyedrops.
This made my eyes extremely numb.
I've never had that many eyedrops
put in my eyes at an optometrist office.
They told me it would wear off.
But, it didn't everything was blurry.
I couldn't see driving on the way home everything foggy and bright.
I was so scared driving home.
I will never give my business to this place again. So unprofessional.
