Had surgery April 15 ! I arrived at 7:45 am, sat out in the lobby for a bit, and then was taken back, but apparently the lady in pre-op forgot about me for 45 mins. Thankfully, the 2 travel techs who helped with the procedure walked by and got me situated. The provider and the 2 techs who performed the procedure were awesome, I loved them. They kept my pain under control, answered my questions, and we simply talked about everything. After the procedure, I received a goody bag (for previously having to reschedule due to weather) and left. Well, after surgery, no calls, no texts, just to see how I was doing the days after. Post medication taken as prescribed, but I ran into issues with the scabs on my scalp (recipient area) not falling off and intense burning, itching, and small bumps (donor area). I had to look up information online, found it to be folliculitis, and took the proper steps to help address it. I finally got a text 1.5 weeks later to schedule a tele-appointment that Wednesday. I confirmed the appointment, after no tele call at the scheduled time, via text, I pointed out nobody had contacted me and was told the doctor was running behind. Well, Wednesday came and went last week, so now I am post-op 3 weeks, with no follow-up.
