Oct 21, 2025I was referred to Dr. Meyers by my dermatologist to clear the margins of two very small moles that were removed. The largest mole was just over 1cm for reference.
I was told by the doctor that we would have to address them separately with 2 weeks in between. I thought this was odd and questioned it further and was told by the doctor that he couldn't address them together because of the amount of lidocaine needed. I left his office still questioning his reasoning because both of the moles were removed by my dermatologist at the same time with no issues. However, I understand he'd need to take more tissue, but not that much more.
After meeting with another plastic surgeon, my suspicions were confirmed that he could have addressed them together. The other plastic surgeon and I suspect he didn't want to so he could bill my insurance for two different procedures. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR! BEWARE!!
