Aug 3, 2025I had top surgery by Dr Chen in March 2022. I was incredibly disappointed by the surgery. I am looking into a revision because not only are there dog ears on both sides, but there are bulges of tissue under my armpits that make me really self conscious, as well as a bulge in between my scars. On my left side there is a smaller scar underneath the top scar, which I can only assume was a mistake and Dr Chen cut into my chest in the wrong place and then had to move up an inch. She also pulled the skin too tight over my pectoral muscles and I have really big stretch marks there. So she pulled my skin too tight in some places and not tight enough in other places. Frankly, she did a lazy job and I do not recommend her, especially if you are not an extremely thin person. She literally grabbed my stomach and told me I need to "get rid of this" if I want to have good surgery results. Her bedside manner is abhorrent and she is unkind, disrespectful, and not that good of a surgeon. I am extremely disappointed in the surgery I got from Dr Chen and strongly recommend you find a better surgeon for your top surgery, someone who actually cares about doing a good job on everyone.
