I have had good experiences with Dr. Harvey until my last surgery. My first rhinoplasty with him was great. I felt very comfortable talking to him. He explained lots of things to me before my surgery. My secound time with him not so great. I went back to get a second rhinoplasty because I did not feel I got the nose I desire to have it. So this second time, I explained to him with lots details and photos of what I see, expected and wanted my nose to look like. (He didn’t promise the nose I wanted) but he did say he could give something close to it. That was my mistake. I should have left the office right after he said that, but my husband convinced me that he would do a great job since I liked the first job. I though to myself..., “if he did a good job then I would not be here for the second time!” But we went forward with the surgery. A week after my surgery we took the bandages off, I knew my nose was still pretty swollen, but I thought he done a good job. Then I want back for the 3rd follow up. I told him that I once again did not get what I was expecting: a small bridge, shave a dents on the sides of the bridge, make the tip of my nose smaller and to lift the tip of my nose. Well, I GOT NOTHING of the following. My bridges are pretty large still, the two dents of my bridge are now more noticeable than before, the tip of my nose still pretty thick, and to discredit his work much further... my nose now is crooked, yup folks I GOT BOTCHED! My last follow up with him was just awful. I pour my heart out, told him that exactly what I am writing here. He got very defensive and he was no longer hearing me. He kept telling me that I had to wait a whole year to see better results. As we walked out of the consultation room. Dr. Harvey had somewhat a bad attitude towards the whole situation. So I noticed that he spoke with codes to his assistant. He said very abruptly, “okay, well I will see you IN SIX WEEKS.” The way he said that “SIX WEEKS” was weird. Usually when he said he wanted to see me in ..... his assistant booked me right there and then; but not this last time. The code “SIX WEEK” translated to (NEVER WANT TO SEE HIM AGAIN) as she never ever put my name on the calendar to see him in six weeks as she usually did in the past. I have not seen or heard from Dr. Harvey since. Which reinforce everything I thought of him that day. There ya go folks, that was my experience with Dr. Harvey. I hope you guys have a much better one than mine.
