Dr. Dewan is extremely experienced and highly skilled. I felt comfortable from our first meeting to discuss the possibility of upper eyelid surgery. I went to him first knowing that ALL he does is eye plastic surgery. Other doctors I had consults with did a lot of other types of surgeries and only did eyes in surgery centers. They also had long wait periods to perform the surgery. Because Dr. Dewan can do it right in his office, there aren’t expensive day surgery fees associated with it. (I’m sure he will do it in a medical center if his patient needs or wants to.) It also meant I could schedule the procedure quickly. I wasn’t nervous at all and it was quick and painless. I had a lot of swelling (I usually swell badly from anything) but it subsided in a week. Dr. Dewan was readily available available for questions I had during recovery. I didn’t feel like just a number at a larger plastic surgery center. This place gives great one on one attention.
I’ll attach photos of my eyes before, and another photo from a week post op. There is still swelling and under eye bruising but you can see the initial result. Dr Dewan explained that it will take months for the internal healing to complete. Overall I feel less tired in my eyes and I look younger. I can’t wait until I can put eye makeup on again and make my eyes look like they did 10 years ago!
I highly recommend Dr. Dewan and am glad I did my research and chose him after other consults.
