My short interaction with them left me feeling like I don’t ever wanna do business with them. They wanted $500 to do a simple removal of what is essentially a white head underneath my eye. I went to my dermatologist who did it for $60 (there was no pain meds needed, no numbing necessary, no stitches required, and it took less than five minutes ). I was going to just leave it at that but I just received a bill from what I thought was supposed to be just a consultation. I paid my $20 office visit co-pay and figured we were done. This bill says they charged my insurance $70 to take a picture of the pinhead-sized blemish, and even more to do a “work up“ to let me know how much it would cost to have this removed. I was never told that there would be any other expense involved, nor was I asked if they could do anything on me that would cost me anything other than the consultation. When I called their office to ask about this, they sent me to their billing company, which is convenient because the billing company can’t waive any fees. They just tell you what your insurance paid for and what you are responsible to pay. I feel misled and cheated.
