Jul 29, 2025I paid for a facelift, neck lift, submental liposuction, and upper blepharoplasty at the hands of Dr. Hamm. There has been no lifting of my face and I now have awful scarring. My incisions are in no way hidden in my hairline and I used to wear my hair short and shaved in the back. My chin was made smaller during surgery and fat was removed from my lower cheeks. I did not consent to having fat removed from chin and lower cheeks and I looked worse post surgery.
The facelift portion of my procedures should have taken a minimum of 2 hours alone per a publication issued by Harvard Medical, but my many procedures were performed in about 1.5 hours based upon calls between the surgery center and my daughter. There were also no incisions made into any part of my temporal region which is the norm in a facelift procedure per many credible sources.
I have requested Dr. Hamm’s contact information multiples times because I have been told that he is the one who needs to address my concerns. My many requests for his contact information have been danced around. Instead I have been told that Dr. Hamm will kindly perform a revision in March and that I should be happy that the work was performed “efficiently”. Tammy has been intellectually dishonest and it’s insulting honestly. Why would I allow a man who disfigured me to get near me with surgical instruments again? Why would I trust a clearly dishonest business again?
Before electing to have Dr. Hamm perform any procedures on you please look to Florida’s registry of medical professionals. Dr. Hamm has a disciplinary record. Look to the Broward County Clerk of Court website also. There is a wealth of information there as well.
Because I wanted a facelift I recently had a “pdo thread ponytail lift” performed by an ARNP in Colorado at a cost that’s 1/10, of what I paid Dr. Hamm. My results have been amazing. A minimally invasive procedure gave me what my surgical results could have been had Dr. Hamm done as agreed upon in writing and in accordance with what I paid.
I cannot speak to the work of the other surgeons at Strax Aesthetics, but I would advise people to think long and hard before electing to have Dr. Hamm operate on them. At his age he has no incentives to do right per my experience with him. After all, he graduated Harvard the first time in the 1960s. I could theorize as to why he is still practicing, but want my review to serve as a warning which means that the review has to remain.
