I was referred by my very respected plastic surgeon who has since retired. His office recommended Dr Khavkin. I called 4-5 times to schedule a consultation and was never called back. The last time I called, I asked the person answering phones-idk if she works from home but there was never any background sound like you would expect if she were in the office. I don’t care about that, I just wouldn’t refer to them as “receptionist”. She couldn’t schedule an appointment either but said someone would call me back. No one ever did. The last time I called-she knew who I was by then-I asked her if they were just too busy and maybe didn’t want the business? She said “yes, they are very busy”. Again, I can’t say she was the issue because idk of she was passing on messages or not. But I finally did get a call back from a different doctor’s coordinator. I basically said I would prefer to schedule with Dr. Khavkin bc that’s who my other doctor had referred me to and who I had researched. She said she’d pass the info on and I never heard from Dr K’s office. If they called me tonight, I wouldn’t seek their services because I would have no faith that they care about their patients, or that they would be available after the fact if there were issues. Extremely unprofessional.
