My Explant Journey with Dr. Rankin.

Making the decision to have my explant surgery was not an easy one. It’s something deeply personal — emotional, even — and I knew I needed to find the right doctor I could trust with my body and my health. After so much research and reading, everything kept leading me back to Dr. Rankin.

From the very first visit, I felt an immediate sense of peace. Dr. Rankin’s energy is hard to explain in one word — calm, confident, and genuinely caring. He truly listens, never rushes you, and makes you feel seen and understood. On the day of my surgery, I felt completely safe and supported — he even called me that evening to check in and see how I was feeling. That meant the world to me.

A special thank you to Jackie, Paula, Dee and the entire office staff — each one of them is so kind, professional, and compassionate. You can tell they all love what they do and truly care about their patients.

I went in the next day for my follow-up, and I couldn’t believe how amazing I felt — not just physically, but emotionally too. I knew I had made the right choice.

This experience has been life-changing. I feel lighter, healthier. I will forever be grateful to Dr. Rankin and his incredible team for their care, compassion, and dedication.
