Excellent surgeon and wonderful office staff (which is very important). Acasia spent over 30 minutes answering all my questions before I felt comfortable scheduling a consultation with Dr. Shafa. Consultation meeting with Dr. Shafa lasted for over an hour; I was very impressed with the amount of time spent with me. He thoroughly explained and demonstrated how the surgery I asked about would not be appropriate for me. He suggested and explained why a different surgery would be more appropriate with the outcome I desired. I appreciated that the price quoted was all inclusive (Dr. Shafa's cost, anesthesiology cost, day surgery cost, all post-op visits, laser treatment to minimize scars) so no surprise add-ons. Dr. Shafa encouraged immediate activity as detailed in the post-op instructions, including standing up straight to the degree I was able to, without straining. This was the best instruction as I was very concerned of having to be bent over for a prolonged period of time. Day of surgery and all the post-op visits went very well. Kirstie and Acasia were wonderful. Very positive, very responsive to emails and questions. When I had any post-op questions, either Kirstie, Acasia, or Dr. Shafa responded immediately. I'm 8 weeks post-op and feel and look great. Highly recommend Dr. Shafa, Acasia, and Kirstie!
