Feb 5, 2026Had rhinoplasty here and I would not recommend. One of my comments during consultation was that I wanted a smaller version of my nose. My nose is wide and I wanted the nasal bones brought in to create a slimmer aesthetic. On a follow up, Dr. Daraei actually mentioned that he made my nose bigger. More projection makes sense but it is larger all around. The prominent nasal bones I had an issue with? Still there. A bridge graft was placed to camouflage them a bit but only works moderately to distract from them because the graft is so obvious. I can literally see the edges of the graft.
I’m over a year post-op and seeking revision with a different surgeon. When I discussed revision with Dr. Daraei, I was told the graft was very thin so essentially it can’t be shaved down. I felt any concern I’ve raised has been brushed away as no big deal or needing more time to heal. I paid over $10K for the rhino, I would think I’d need to be happy with it even if the Dr. thinks he did an okay job. My columella is wider now, nasal tip is not refined and it looks like a round clown nose unless I use a filter for my pics. The bridge graft is obvious and slightly off-centered.
I didn’t like my nose before but I find myself looking at old pics of my nose and wishing I left it that way. Posting somewhat anonymously for privacy but I have no problem sharing more details if anyone is considering this doc. Still expressed concerns about my nose several months post-op, there was no 1-year post-op appointment.
