We chose Phase Plastic Surgery based largely on the online reputation of Dr. Baxter, believing he was a skilled and trustworthy surgeon. Unfortunately, our experience has been devastating.

My wife initially went to Phase for a breast augmentation revision involving implant replacement and an internal pocket repair. Since that first surgery, she has undergone five separate procedures, each requiring additional payment, time off work, recovery, and emotional strain.

Today, she is left with significant scarring, asymmetry, a double bubble deformity, and an implant that is no longer properly positioned. The physical outcome has been extremely distressing, but the emotional and mental toll has been even greater.

After the most recent complications, Dr. Baxter advised us to seek a second opinion. We did so. That surgeon stated that they would not have performed the repeated corrective surgeries and explained that the only reasonable path forward would be to remove the implants entirely and allow the body to heal for approximately one year before considering reconstruction.

We shared this professional opinion with Phase Plastic Surgery. Since then, Dr. Baxter has not returned our calls, and we have received no meaningful follow-up or support.

To make matters worse, the same pattern has occurred with another patient we personally know—a close friend of my wife who works in Mountlake Terrace—who was treated by Dr. Baxter and is now experiencing unresolved complications and difficulty getting help.

We trusted Phase Plastic Surgery with something deeply personal. Instead, my wife is permanently scarred, emotionally traumatized, and facing the prospect of undoing everything just to heal.

This has been the most painful and expensive mistake of our lives. I strongly urge anyone considering this practice to seek multiple consultations and proceed with extreme caution.
