I was born with a deformity in my breast and had an implant placed over 20 years ago. I had my first mammogram done with someone else as part of annual screenings, and they discovered that it was deflated and the cause of my pain. They recommended I see their affiliated surgeon, and after being left alone to navigate the solution, I decided to do research on my issue and figure it out on my own.

After I went to a few doctors for a consultation about my issue, I chose Dr. Papafragkou. He is the kindest, most caring doctor. I went in for a consultation for implant removal, and he was incredibly thorough and compassionate about my issue. Dr. P didn't push me or try to convince me to get a new implant. He respected my wish not to have it again and worked with my insurance to get the procedure approved.

On the day of surgery, I was extremely nervous and surprised that both doctors showed up. Even though Dr. Rhee hasn't seen me, I would feel comfortable and secure with her if Dr. P weren't available. They took the time to answer every question I had and made sure I felt completely comfortable before being rolled into the OR.

The aftercare has been just as wonderful. I’ve been seeing him weekly post-op, and at every visit, he makes sure my recovery is smooth and comfortable. And he assured me that I can call or text him anytime I have a question about my post-op. (which I have done and he has responded). He also told me the implant I had is no longer used in the US because it can cause breast cancer.

I trust him completely and will use their services again in the future if I choose to do another procedure.

The front office staff is warm, kind, and incredibly helpful. Highly recommend—if you’re considering any of the procedures they offer, you will not regret it!
