Mar 15, 2026After hating my arms, cropping my arms out of pictures for over 20 years, I decided to have an arm lift.
At the consultation It was suggested that I also do Liposuction on my stomach and back. “I can take care of this” as my belly was squeezed on. “You will love your arms” I agreed and was super excited. $11,000.00 is a lot of money, but I totally trusted Dr. Moores expertise and expected amazing results for that kind of money!
I was devastated with the outcome. My stomach looks exactly the same, my back looks better but still has the rolls, and that was the only reason I agreed to the Liposuction. I was told the reason my stomach looks the same is because I have kids. I even lost another 5 pounds to see if it helped.
My arms definitely look better, but are still very large and I am still covering them up and embarrassed.
I was in pain for months and knew something was very wrong with my range of motion. I talked to too many people and discovered this wasn’t normal results. Most people were fine after a few weeks. I lived off pain medication for 5 months.
I was dismissed several times. Thank goodness, I saw another doctor to discuss the pain. I found out that I had frozen shoulder and needed Physical therapy.
(Not the doctors fault)
Tips: ask lots of questions! I knew nothing and was told nothing other than take a week off from work.
I had plans to attend my daughter’s graduation the day after my surgery. My daughter is the one who told me to call and reschedule.
Do lots of Research, join groups, do more than just one consultation with other professionals. Apparently Revisions are common and I wasn’t told that until after the surgery.
Dr Moore is a very kind man and I was told he is a very conservative doctor. I didn’t know that and there is nothing wrong with that if you are told up front. For me, it’s a one and done surgery, I don’t want a revision and definitely wouldn’t have booked had I been told about needing revisions.
Huge lack of communication, Discuss your Expectations at the consultation.
I’m now in Physical therapy, chiropractic care and doing weekly Lymphatic massages. Apparently frozen shoulder is common with women in menopause. Again, nothing that he did caused it.
They have amazing reviews and are all kind people which is why I picked them.
This was my experience and most people get amazing results.
