Update 12/18/25: come to find out, the scheduler for Dr. Turko was NOT on vacation at all. I had to call back again this week (two weeks after my initial consult) because I still hadn’t gotten a call back and it turns out their surgical center flooded “a couple of weeks ago”. But why the reception staff and other scheduling staff wouldn’t have said that and instead say Turko’s scheduler was on vacation for a week is beyond me. She was out for one day. Really poor communication in this practice and as you can see from their generic response they don’t seem really concerned with improving it.

Original review: Dr. Turko and his surgical team are wonderful. The new facility is beautiful. But be warned - if the scheduler for your particular surgeon is on vacation apparently no one fills in for anyone so you need to wait until that scheduler returns from their time off. This recently happened to me - went in on a Thursday for a consult and was told the scheduler would call me. The following Wednesday I called them since I had received no call. I was told the scheduler was busy so they’d leave her a message. Called again the next day (Thursday) only to be informed the scheduler is now on vacation until the following Wednesday and that no one else could do her job, I guess. Weird way to do business. I don’t recall it being this challenging for a prior procedure a few years ago.
